Decusoft, Inc (“Decusoft,” “we”, “our”, “us”) provides this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) because we know that you care about how your information in collected, used, shared and retained. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected when you visit our website available at www.decusoft.com (the “Website”) and access and/or use our Compose and Easyadmin Services (the “Services”).

Description of Users and Acceptance of Terms

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the Website, who view only publicly-available content (the “Visitors”) and clients who have signed up to access and use our Services (the “Clients”).

By visiting our Website, Visitors are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use.

By accessing, and/or using the Services, each Client is agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the applicable agreement between Decusoft and the Client for the access to the Services (the “Client Agreement”).

Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Use (when such term concerns Visitors), or the Client Agreement (when such term concerns Clients).

What Information We Collect/Receive; the Purpose of Collection and Use

In the course of operating the Website and the Services, Decusoft will collect (and/or receive) the following types of information.  You authorize us to collect and/or receive such information and assume contractual responsibility for obtaining all consents as required under applicable laws and regulations.

Contact Information.  We collect contact information on our Website when you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us or sign up to access and use our Services. Such contact information includes name, email address, mailing address, phone number, username, account number, and information about your business such as company name, company size and business type. We use this contact information to assess the needs of your business to determine suitable products, send you requested product or service information, register you or guests for an online event, respond to customer service requests, administer your account, send you a newsletter, respond to your questions and concerns, improve our Web site and marketing efforts, and conduct research and analysis.

Information Collected through the Services.  In using our Services, Clients may provide and/or Decusoft may collect certain information and data (as defined in the applicable Client Agreement) from Client’s use of the Services. Decusoft uses such information and data in accordance with terms and conditions of the applicable Client Agreement. Decusoft does not have any direct relationship with individuals whose personal information may be processed by Decusoft as part of providing our Services to our Clients.

Testimonial Information.  We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our Website in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at Info@Decusoft.com.

Other Information.  In addition to the Contact Information and the Data, we may collect or receive additional information (the “Other Information”). Such Other Information may include:

  • From Your Activity. In an ongoing effort to improve the Website and the Services we automatically collect certain information when visitors visit the Website and when Clients use the Services. This information consists of IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Website visitors visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Website and the Services.

Social Media Widgets

Our Website includes social media features such as links to our various social media pages and widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the third party company providing it.

Information Collected by or Through Third-Party Companies

We may share Other Information about you with third parties for ad distribution and ad optimization (defined as the tailoring, targeting (i.e., behavioral, contextual, and retargeting), analyzing, managing, reporting, and optimizing of ads).  These third parties may use cookies, pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs), and/or other technologies to collect such Other Information for such purposes.  Pixel tags enable us, and these third-parties, to recognize a browser’s cookie when a browser visits the site on which the pixel tag is located in order to learn which advertisement brings a user to a given site. Aggregated and De-Identified Data Policy

Records from the Customer’s data systems including Payroll / HRIS (e.g. ADP, UKG, Workday, Oracle, BambooHR etc..), ATS (e.g. Greenhouse, Lever), and other data providers (such as Carta etc..) are completely de-identified from the individual and company before being aggregated, anonymized and distributed as part of Decusoft’s DEI, Pay Equity and/or other compensation benchmarking solutions.

Decusoft strictly does not sell any individual Customer Data to another customer or third-parties. If this changes in the future, Decusoft will require explicit approval of a Policy update from the Customer, and that Customer’s data will be de-identified before being sold to any other party.

Onward Transfer to Third Parties

Like many businesses, we hire other companies to perform certain business-related services. We may disclose personal information to certain types of third party companies but only to the extent needed to enable them to provide such services. The types of companies that may receive personal information and their functions are: marketing assistance. All such third parties function as our agents, performing services at our instruction and on our behalf pursuant to contracts which require they provide at least the same level of privacy protection as is required by this Privacy Policy and implemented by Decusoft. We may also disclose personal information to our affiliates in order to support marketing, sale and delivery of Services.

With regard to the Principle of Accountability for Onward Transfer, for example, we remain liable if our agent processes such personal information, unless we prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Opt-In to Certain Onward Transfers 

We will  not transfer your personal information to a third party acting as a controller without first providing you with information regarding the identity of such controller or the nature of such controller’s business, and obtaining your opt-in consent. Upon request we will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personal information. We may require payment of a non-excessive fee to defray our expenses in this regard.

How We Protect Your Information

The security of personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as log-in credentials) on our Website, we encrypt the transmission of that information using reasonable security. Decusoft does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 through the Website and/or the Services.
