Quality Assurance Analyst

New York City Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced tester who will ensure the quality of our software while always viewing our product from our customer’s perspective. Responsibilities

  • Test new features before they are released, working closely with software engineers and product management to ensure quality
  • Identify, document, and track defects
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities
  • Assess production readiness of software releases
  • Triage, reproduce and manage incoming client bugs
  • Partner with software engineering and product management to define quality goals and implement measurements to ensure goals are met
  • Write and manage product release notes for each release
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the QA process

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of software Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience testing both web and mobile applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Team player, willing to help and share knowledge with team members, open to feedback and constructive criticism
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Automated testing experience is a plus
  • Experience working in SaaS environment is a plus
