Head of People, Culture & DEI

As Decusoft continues to grow, we want to preserve our people-centric, high-performance culture. As a result, we are looking for a thoughtful, inspired, and passionate Head of People, Culture & DEI – a newly created position – to join our team.

As a member of the Senior Executive Team, you will lead all aspects of the People, Culture and DEI work for Decusoft, as well as serve as an advisor and expert to the product teams in order to shape roadmaps and enhancements related to our compensation, performance, and DEI/people analytics offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to the CEO with a people-first mindset
  • Lead and execute around all aspects of People operations including performance review cycles; compensation reviews and planning; policy development, administration, and employment regulatory compliance to support rapid growth as we scale.
  • Partner with the product team as a subject matter expert and champion to help shape and strategize on the product roadmap and innovation around our Compose® Suite of compensation, performance management, and DE&I/people analytics offerings.
  • Own the full talent acquisition cycle. Focus on building a diverse and inclusive team while setting and achieving hiring and retention goals. Recommend strategies and partnerships that stand out as creative hiring practices, particularly for underrepresented communities.
  • Oversee employee development and growth through learning and development practices that drive a high-performance culture and growth mindset.
  • As an essential champion of our culture set a bold cultural strategy to help the team grasp and live our core values of IntegrityCollaborationAgilityInnovation, and Passion.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of key company events

Requirements & Skills

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience across the full range of human resources functions.
  • 4+ years of experience in progressive people leadership roles.
  • Experience in software/SaaS and/or HCM industry is advantageous.
  • A creative, self-directed, leader who proactively takes ownership and is passionate about scaling the company.
  • Strong process and project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people operations strategies that drive results.
  • A natural coach and mentor with an ability to foster relationships with all levels of the organization, empathetic leader who listens effectively, and a track record of helping employees at all levels achieve their professional development goals.
  • Strong comprehension of state and federal compliance and legislation.
  • Ability to collaborate with the CEO and key executive stakeholders in all people and culture related items.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, SHRL or similar certifications preferred.

Compensation range: $150,000 – $185,000 + Bonus + Equity., Relocation costs considerations if required.
