Compose offers a replacement for Excel spreadsheets, a company’s home-grown system, or can be used in conjunction with a Human Capital Management solution like Workday, SAP, Oracle Ultimate Software, etc. Compose users report a marked improvement in data integrity and a decrease in the time and resources required to plan, implement, and manage compensation cycles.


Compose was designed by compensation experts with deep knowledge and understanding of the challenges compensation professionals face managing unique compensation plan types and provide them an unparalleled tool with a great deal of flexibility and the capability to handle a high degree of complexity. The platform is supported by a team of, in-house, dedicated professionals that have a deep understanding of our customer’s unique compensation plans, allowing Decusoft to provide dedicated service and support and ultimately becoming an extension of their team.


Decusoft is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our growing team. Primary responsibilities include growing the business for our compensation software solution, COMPOSE; managing/maintaining client business relationships; and developing new accounts through direct face-to-face contact and prospecting. You will have responsibility for successfully managing the customer experience throughout the entire sales cycle and ensuring customer satisfaction. We desire SaaS/Cloud sales experience preferably in Compensation, Human Resources, Human Capital Management, Talent Management, and/or Payroll. Successful SaaS/Cloud sales experience within the financial services vertical is a plus.


Job Scope/Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales goals set forth in business plan
  • Providing accurate forecasting/pipeline management
  • Lead and manage complex sales campaigns from identifying opportunities, managing resources, structuring financial aspects, negotiating, and closing
  • Leverage inside sales support, marketing, and lead follow-through
  • Develop partner ecosystem (Workday, compensation consultants, system integrators, etc.)
  • Thorough product knowledge of COMPOSE and competitive landscape
  • Strong social media skillset familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter, FB, etc.

Experience Guidelines:

  • 5+ years of software sales experience (preferably in Compensation, HR, HCM)
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate business goals into functional strategies
  • Self-driven, highly focused, results-oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce automation tools, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work effectively in both a team and independent manner
  • BA/BS degree


  • Commensurate with Experience:
  • Base Salary + Commissions based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
