Construction
During Construction, the logical system design completed by the architects in the Analysis phase is distributed to the development team and under the supervision of the Technical Lead, is assembled into an integrated system. The team uses standard object oriented design and programming techniques (OOD, OOP). A test Plan is compiled in order to systematically test each component and assembly in the eventual solution. As each module or object is ready to use, it is thoroughly tested to be sure it complies exactly to the parameters specified in the use-case design. Quality Assurance Analysts are responsible for fully testing the completed objects as well as the assembled solution. The Project Manager assists in this role. When the client accepts the fully executed Test Plan, the Construction phase is completed and the system is ready for deployment.
