System designers:

Determine the most appropriate technology to use to design your solution
Architect the solution tier model
Plan the system objects

Decusoft adheres to a "technologically agnostic" design model, allowing the requirements of the client's business practice and existing platforms to play a key role in the recommended technical solution.

It is typically in the Analysis phase where major design challenges are identified and conquered, and thus can be the most time consuming phase of the life cycle.

As part of the Analysis phase, a Prototype of the User Interface is developed. The purpose of the Prototype is to reaffirm the business requirements and identify the preferred "look and feel." There may be several additional iterations of prototyping during the Construction phase, depending on the scope and duration of the project, to ensure continued user feedback and client satisfaction with the design of the overall system. The prototype is considered in combination with the Functional Specification to ensure all required functionality is included in the system design.

Once signed-off, the Functional Specification document is used to determine a final fixed price and an associated time line to complete the project.
