Spanierman Gallery for more than half a century has been dedicated to dealing in the finest nineteenth and twentieth-century American painting and sculpture. The gallery presents exhibitions of the highest quality including works on loan from museums and private collections, as well as works from their own holdings.
CASE STUDY
Spanierman Gallery engaged Decusoft to develop an art gallery application. They were previously using a number of off-the-shelf packages and spread sheets to manage the business. These were cumbersome to use and not meeting all their business needs. In addition, maintaining separate databases and spread sheets was a nightmare. Decusoft worked with Spanierman to create an integrated system that combined the features of the packages as well as giving them the additional functionality necessary to better run the business. The new system handles all of their customer information (including mailing distributions and email mailings), inventory tracking and transactions (loans, consignments out, consignments in, quotes, invoices, shipping and receiving).
The system went live July/2003.
